Established in 1992, this scholarship honors a high school senior planning to enroll at the University of Connecticut who, as a role model or advocate, has advanced the role and contributions of women in society.

In memory of Christa McAuliffe, the first teacher in space. To be considered, a student must be attending a four-year college or university to pursue a career in teaching.

Presented in memory of a longtime supporter of Nutmeg PTA to a student who has been identified with special needs and will be attending a post-secondary education or training.

Presented to a student planning on attending a four-year college to pursue a career in service to children other than teaching.

Applicants must be graduating seniors from Fairfield or New Haven counties and an active bowler currently in a bowling league, school bowling team or a school bowling club. The applicant must be entering an accredited university, college or vocational school.

Awards need-based scholarships to students who live in Greenwich or attend Greenwich High School who have demonstrated financial need. Awards are paid directly to the college or university for tuition, room, board and mandatory fees.

This scholarship awards students in undergraduate and graduate degree programs in construction, construction management, interior design, architecture, landscape design or civil, mechanical, structural and electrical engineering. Scholarships will be awarded based on the academic achievements.

A $750 scholarship to be awarded to a CT high school student who will attend a four-year college and who has a parent (or legal guardian) actively serving in the military or who is an honorably discharged veteran.

Offering scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college, community or junior college or career school. The program includes: a $5,000 scholarship, two $1,000 scholarships and a total of 10 scholarships of $500.

Financial aid program available to all admitted transfer applicants, including international students, based on demonstrated financial need.

Harvard College students receiving financial aid are eligible to transfer their grant assistance to approved semester-time study abroad programs. If the program costs more than a Harvard semester, additional grant funding up to $5,000 may be provided. Costs exceeding this additional grant amount can be met with a subsidized loan. Students must submit a Study Abroad Supplement and a Consortium Agreement.

The Summer Federal Work Study Program allows eligible students to earn money through part-time employment to help cover their educational expenses during the summer term. Eligibility is tied to federal financial aid qualifications for the upcoming academic year.

Two scholarships for full-time employees of Colorado State University who are furthering their education.

A dissertation completion fellowship (DCF) is assured to all eligible candidates in the Harvard Kenneth C. Griffin Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (Harvard Griffin GSAS) in fields in the humanities and social sciences. Awards are intended to be held for the entire academic year and to be confined within a single academic year. Students are expected to complete the dissertation during the completion fellowship year; this will be the final year of Harvard Griffin GSAS funding.

The Program in General Education has established the General Education Prize to inspire Harvard College students to reflect on the transformational nature of their Gen Ed learning experiences. Up to five $500 prizes will be awarded annually.

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) provides support to individuals for dissertation research in health services research as part of completing a research doctorate degree. This program supports dissertation research that addresses AHRQ’s mission and priorities and welcomes any areas of health services research as dissertation project topics.

The NRF Foundation Next Generation Scholarship is the pinnacle achievement for students interested in pursuing careers in retail. This opportunity was created for students of various academic backgrounds who have demonstrated leadership skills, previous retail experience and a passion for making an impact. This scholarship develops skills in retailing, business and critical thinking, and prepares and encourages students to launch their career in retail and earn recognition among the next generation of leaders in the industry. Since its launch, more than $800,000 in funds have been awarded through the NRF Foundation Next Generation Scholarship.
