Arlington Baptist University

Arlington Baptist University stands as a historic private Bible college in Texas, dedicated to its founding mission of "Preparing Worldchangers." Established in 1939 by J. Frank Norris as the Fundamental Baptist Bible Institute, the university has a rich legacy rooted in shaping pastors and missionaries. Its journey saw it evolve from a small institute in Fort Worth, enduring significant leadership changes and a pivotal split that led to the formation of other influential Baptist institutions, before finding its permanent home in Arlington.
