Ashland Community and Technical College

Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC) stands as a testament to accessible education, tracing its roots back to Kentucky's first municipal junior college. Founded in 1938, the college was established through visionary legislation to provide local students with opportunities to earn associate degrees or complete their first two years of a bachelor's degree at an affordable rate. Simultaneously, the Ashland Vocational School emerged, offering crucial technical training.
