Beaufort County Community College (BCCC) stands as a dynamic public community college, serving as a pivotal gateway for individuals seeking both robust career training and solid foundations for higher education. Founded in December 1967 as Beaufort County Technical Institute, the college initially dedicated itself to providing essential vocational and technical programs. Demonstrating a forward-thinking vision, BCCC quickly expanded its offerings, notably opening a college parallel program in 1968 in conjunction with East Carolina University.
