Bethany Global University stands as a distinctive private institution, deeply rooted in a profound commitment to Christian missionary work. The university's rich history traces back to 1945, when it originated as the Bethany Fellowship Missionary Training Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This endeavor was sparked by five visionary families who, driven by a shared call to missions, combined their resources and even sold their possessions to establish a missions-focused organization. Their first headquarters, affectionately named "Bethany House," was a 30-room home, symbolizing the communal and dedicated spirit that continues to define the institution. The name "Bethany" itself draws inspiration from the biblical village, reflecting a place of prayer and spiritual retreat.

Today, Bethany Global University operates under the inspiring motto, "Living with eternity in view," which permeates every aspect of the student experience.
