Nestled in the picturesque foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains, California State University-San Bernardino (CSUSB) is a dynamic public research university renowned for its commitment to defining the future. The university's journey began in 1965, opening its doors as California State College at San Bernardino with an inaugural class of 293 students and 30 faculty members. Initially established by the state legislature in 1960, the institution quickly grew, reflecting the evolving educational needs of the region. By 1984, it officially earned university status, evolving into the comprehensive California State University, San Bernardino, it is known as today, now serving nearly 18,000 students across its expansive main campus and a vibrant branch in Palm Desert.

CSUSB is dedicated to providing robust academic pathways, offering an impressive array of 123 bachelor's programs, 61 master's programs, and two distinct Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) programs specializing in Community College and K–12 education.
