The California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM) stands as a vital institution dedicated to addressing the critical physician shortage in the United States, particularly within California's medically underserved Inland Empire. Founded in 2015 by visionary cardiologist Dr. Prem Reddy, CUSM emerged as a non-profit medical school, bolstered by substantial philanthropic support from the Prime Healthcare Foundation and the Dr. Prem Reddy Family Foundation, underscoring a profound commitment to community health and education.

CUSM quickly established itself as a beacon of modern medical training. After its official opening in 2018, the university unveiled a state-of-the-art campus in 2020, featuring advanced learning environments including two lecture halls, nine college rooms, fifteen clinical skills rooms, and three cutting-edge labs. Its robust academic program is further strengthened by a primary teaching hospital affiliation with the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, ensuring students gain invaluable hands-on clinical experience.
