Calvary University stands as a distinctive institution dedicated to "Biblical Equipping for Excellence in Life and Service." Originally established as Calvary Bible College in 1932, it has evolved significantly, broadening its mission to prepare students not just for full-time church ministry, but for a wide array of professional callings.

Its rich history is marked by a series of strategic mergers, beginning with the consolidation of Kansas City Bible College and Midwest Bible College in 1961. This laid the foundation for an institution committed to deep theological understanding combined with practical application. Further growth saw the inclusion of Citadel Bible College in 1987, continuously enriching its academic heritage.

The university's physical journey is equally unique, having moved through several locations before settling on its current campus at the former Richards-Gebaur Air Force Base. A pivotal moment occurred in mid-2016 when the institution officially re-branded as Calvary University.
