Dr. Aguirre brings over 30 years of experience, including advising the U.S. government and representing the Holy See, to guide the university's mission. The university's strategic vision was further cemented in January 2024 with its renaming to Catholic International University, reflecting an ambitious goal to expand its reach particularly to Latin America and Italy, preparing students to make a meaningful impact across the globe.
