Charlotte Christian College and Theological Seminary

Charlotte Christian College and Theological Seminary (CCC&TS) stands as a beacon for aspiring leaders dedicated to impacting cities for Christ. Founded in 1996, this private college and seminary operates under the inspiring motto, "Christ ... through the cities to the world!" It offers a focused educational journey for students seeking to deepen their faith and equip themselves for meaningful service, whether in ministry, leadership, or community engagement. The institution's journey began in 1997, initially offering courses on the campus of New Life Baptist Church. It evolved into New Life Theological Seminary by 1999, quickly pursuing and achieving recognized accreditation from TRACS in 2003. This early recognition set the stage for significant growth, including a pivotal move in 2002 to a donated 37,000-square-foot facility near Uptown Charlotte. Over the years, the campus underwent renovations and expansions, enhancing the learning environment with features like wireless internet access and a study mezzanine.

A major milestone occurred in 2014 when the institution officially transformed into Charlotte Christian College and Theological Seminary. This name change reflected a broader vision to be "more than just a seminary," aiming to impact cities more comprehensively. Under the leadership of President Eddie G. Grigg, the college has continued to adapt and thrive. In 2019, it relocated to a new campus, signifying its ongoing commitment to providing an accessible and dynamic educational experience. With a current enrollment of 191 students, CCC&TS fosters a close-knit community where students can grow academically, spiritually, and personally, preparing them for a promising future of service.
