Clark State College

Clark State College, a public community college founded in 1962, stands as a testament to evolving educational needs in Ohio. Its journey began in 1962 as the Springfield and Clark County Technical Education Program, quickly formalizing its structure into the Clark County Technical Institute by 1966. This pioneering spirit led to several transformations, including becoming Clark Technical College in 1972 and later Clark State Community College in 1988, marking the expansion into Associate of Arts and Associate of Science transfer degrees.
