Clary Sage College

Clary Sage College stands as a beacon for aspiring professionals, a private career college established in 1995 with a steadfast commitment to hands-on, career-focused education. What began as Dental Directions: The School of Dental Assisting quickly grew into an institution known for equipping students with specialized skills. Today, under the leadership of President Kimberly Sebastian, Clary Sage College continues its mission of preparing individuals for thriving careers in a dynamic job market.

The college's early success set the stage for its significant growth and development. Within just a few years of its founding, the institution celebrated the graduation of over 300 dental assistant students by mid-1998, a testament to its effective training model. This rapid achievement propelled the college to pursue and secure accreditation from the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), signifying its adherence to high educational standards. It was during this period of expansion and recognition that the institution began operating under the name Community Care College, broadening its scope beyond its initial dental assisting focus.

Clary Sage College's evolution continued with a move to its current modern campus at 4242 S. Sheridan Road in 2003, providing an enhanced learning environment for its growing student body. Demonstrating a commitment to advancing academic opportunities, the college introduced Associate of Applied Science degrees in 2004, which later evolved into Associate of Occupational Science Business and Industry Management degrees in 2017, offering students more comprehensive pathways to career advancement. The college's impactful work was recently recognized with a remarkable US $16 million donation from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott in December 2025, the largest single gift in its history, underscoring its vital role in higher education and its promising future.
