Clear Creek Baptist Bible College

Clear Creek Baptist Bible College stands as a cornerstone for biblical education, known for its unwavering commitment to training individuals for ministry and Christian service. Rooted deeply in Baptist traditions, the college offers a focused academic environment where faith and learning converge to equip students for impactful leadership in churches and communities worldwide. It's a place where the spiritual journey is integral to the academic pursuit, preparing students not just with knowledge, but with a profound sense of calling.

The college's compelling history began with the vision of L.C. Kelly, a Southern Baptist preacher who, after years of ministry and educational endeavors including aiding in the development of Campbellsville University, felt led to establish an annual Bible institute. This vision materialized in 1926, growing from a two-week program into Clear Creek Mountain Springs, Inc., eventually evolving into a full-fledged accredited Bible college. Its early days even saw the campus utilized by the Kentucky Baptist for camp meetings and youth camps, fostering a rich community spirit.

A distinctive feature in its formative years was a robust work-study program, allowing men and women to finance their education through farming, crafting furniture, and making RA arrows, embodying a spirit of self-reliance and practical skill development alongside theological study. Academically, the college achieved full accreditation from the American Association of Bible Colleges in 1958, solidifying its commitment to rigorous academic standards. More recently, in 2020, Clear Creek demonstrated its forward-thinking approach by launching a Master of Arts in Ministry program, a competency-based degree designed to meet contemporary ministry needs.

Prospective students and families will find a college with a rich legacy of faithful leadership, a practical approach to education, and a community dedicated to spiritual growth and service. From its humble beginnings to its current offering of advanced ministry degrees, Clear Creek Baptist Bible College continues to be a vital institution for those called to serve.
