Just a year later, in 1969, the first classes welcomed 2,360 students with an incredibly affordable tuition of just $7 per semester hour. What began in pre-fabricated buildings soon transformed into a permanent campus, with community support enabling continuous expansion, including the A and B wings in 1974, a Learning Resource Center in 1980, and further additions through the 1980s and 90s, solidifying its presence as a key regional asset.

Academically, CLC offers a rich learning experience with a strong emphasis on practical skills and cultural development. The campus boasts modern facilities like the T Wing, which includes dedicated technology classrooms and a fully functioning automotive lab, providing hands-on training.
