Early students in 1851 experienced a rigorous daily routine, beginning at 6 a.m. with a morning walk, followed by worship in the chapel and classes that covered a comprehensive curriculum including arithmetic, ancient history, grammar, ancient geography, philosophy, the five books of Moses, and composition. They also engaged in daily compositions and evening Bible lectures, fostering a holistic approach to learning and personal development.
