About Community Care College
Community Care College: Launching careers with hands-on, accredited education since 1995.
Community Care College (CCC) stands as a beacon for aspiring professionals seeking practical, career-focused education. Founded as a private career college in 1995, CCC is dedicated to equipping students with the essential skills and knowledge needed to excel in various high-demand fields. Under the leadership of President Kimberly Sebastian, the college continues its mission of providing a supportive and dynamic learning environment where students can thrive.
Its journey began in 1995 when Teresa Knox established Dental Directions: The School of Dental Assisting, graduating a dozen students in its inaugural year. This early success laid the groundwork for rapid expansion, leading to accreditation by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and the transformation into Community Care College by mid-1998, having already celebrated over 300 dental assisting graduates. This foundational period highlights CCC's enduring commitment to responsive and relevant education.
Community Care College further expanded its academic offerings, introducing Associate of Applied Science degrees in 2004, which evolved into Associate of Occupational Science Business and Industry Management degrees by 2017. This commitment to academic growth, coupled with a focus on practical application, prepares students for immediate entry into their chosen professions. A testament to its impact and vision for the future, CCC, along with Oklahoma Technical College, received a monumental US $16 million donation from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott in 2025, marking the largest single gift in the colleges' history and affirming their vital role in higher education.
