Established in 1966 and opening its doors in 1967, CCBC’s journey began humbly, operating out of leased spaces in Freedom, Pennsylvania. Its ambition quickly led to the creation of its own dedicated campus in Center Township by 1971, signaling a commitment to growth and providing a solid foundation for its students. A significant landmark in its development was the addition of "The Golden Dome" in 1976, a geodesic recreational facility that not only serves its athletic department but also hosts a myriad of community events, becoming the college’s most recognizable symbol.
