Copiah-Lincoln Community College, affectionately known as Co-Lin, stands as a testament to educational evolution and community commitment in Mississippi. Co-Lin's rich history traces back to 1915 with the establishment of Copiah–Lincoln Agricultural High School. Through visionary leadership and community support, it swiftly transformed into Copiah–Lincoln Junior College in 1928. This foundation laid the groundwork for continuous expansion, welcoming additional counties like Simpson, Franklin, Lawrence, Jefferson, and Adams into its service district. The significant milestone of becoming Copiah–Lincoln Community College in 1988 solidified its mission to serve not just young students, but also adults and senior citizens, reflecting its expansive role in regional education.
