Denver Seminary

Denver Seminary, founded in 1950 as the Conservative Baptist Theological Seminary, emerged from a movement of churches seeking to uphold distinct theological principles. What began as a denominational school in Englewood, Colorado, has profoundly evolved into a major evangelical seminary, significantly expanding its appeal and influence under dynamic leadership, including current President Mark Husbands. Under President Clyde McDowell in 1996, the seminary became the first ever to receive accreditation by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP) for its counseling degree program.
