Diablo Valley College, established in 1949 as East Contra Costa Junior College, has grown into a cornerstone of education for over 22,000 students across two vibrant sites. Despite the severity of the situation, a spokesperson for the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges indicated that the school was unlikely to lose its accreditation, underscoring its underlying institutional strength.
