Dordt University

Dordt University, a private institution nestled in Sioux Center, Iowa, stands as a vibrant hub for Christian higher education. Its journey began in 1953 as Midwest Christian Junior College, officially opening its doors to about 40 students in 1955. As it grew, Dordt expanded its academic offerings, with the first students earning Bachelor of Arts degrees in 1965.
