Eastern Iowa Community College District

Established in 1965 by the visionary Iowa General Assembly, Eastern Iowa Community College (EICC) District was designed as one of the state's 15 merged community college areas. This significant initiative brought together the strengths of Clinton Junior College, Muscatine Junior College, and the robust vocational-technical programs of the Davenport schools, laying the groundwork for a truly comprehensive educational institution serving Eastern Iowa.
