Ecclesia College

Ecclesia College, established in 1975 by Oren and Inez Paris, offers a unique educational experience as a private work college deeply rooted in a Christian mission. From its early days, the college fostered a strong relationship with Youth With A Mission, laying the groundwork for a community dedicated to service and spiritual growth. This model allows students to integrate their academic pursuits with practical work experience, preparing them for diverse callings.

The college achieved a significant milestone in 2005 by receiving accreditation, enabling it to offer a range of degrees both on campus and through online programs. This accreditation, alongside its membership in the Association for Biblical Higher Education, underscores its commitment to academic quality within a faith-based framework. Ecclesia College also became a member of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU) in 2009, further solidifying its standing in the higher education landscape.

Over its history, Ecclesia College has seen important leadership transitions. After the passing of founder Oren Paris II in 2012, his wife, Inez Paris, stepped into the role of Chancellor. More recently, in 2018, Dr. Randall E. Bell was inaugurated as the new president. It's important for prospective students and families to note that while a former president, Oren Paris III, pleaded guilty to charges related to a bribery scheme involving state funds, the college itself was not listed in the indictment regarding this matter. Under its current leadership, Ecclesia College continues to focus on its mission of providing accredited, Christ-centered education and a distinct work-college experience.
