EHOVE Career Center

EHOVE Career Center stands as a pivotal institution for vocational education in Ohio, dedicated to providing essential worker training through the public school system. The center's inception was a forward-thinking response to Ohio's burgeoning economy and infrastructure development during the 1960s. Recognizing the increasing demand for skilled labor, state officials and local communities collaboratively planned for a dedicated vocational institution. The Erie Huron Ottawa Vocational Board (EHOVE) was formed in 1965, meticulously laying the groundwork for what would become a key regional asset, significantly bolstered by public funding measures championed by Ohio's governors.
