Faith International University

Faith International University stands as a distinctive private institution rooted in a profound commitment to biblical inerrancy and historic theological teachings. The university's rich history traces back to 1969, when it was established as Faith Evangelical Lutheran Seminary. Founded by Lutherans Alert-National (LAN), FIU emerged from a critical need to preserve and promote biblical theology during a time of significant change within the church. LAN, committed to the biblical inerrancy and the historic confessions of the Lutheran church, sought to create an institution that would steadfastly proclaim these foundational truths.

This dedication led to the calling of Rev. Dr. R. H. Redal as its first president, and the inaugural classes commenced on September 23, 1969, in Tacoma, Washington. Today, Faith International University continues this legacy, offering an academic environment where students delve deep into theological studies, informed by the principles that have guided the institution since its inception.
