Forsyth Technical Community College, affectionately known as Forsyth Tech, stands as a vibrant cornerstone of education in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Since its establishment in 1960 as the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Industrial Education Center, Forsyth Tech has demonstrated remarkable growth and impact. Its commitment to educational reform and opportunity was even recognized on a national scale when President Barack Obama briefly highlighted Forsyth Tech in his 2011 State of the Union Address, following a personal visit to the campus in 2010.

Academically, Forsyth Tech offers a robust and diverse portfolio designed to meet varied student aspirations. Students can choose from 67 Associates in Applied Science degrees, 20 college transfer degrees (Associates in Arts and Associates in Science), 35 diplomas, and 67 certificates, alongside numerous distance learning and specialty programs.
