Four County Career Center

Four County Career Center stands as a beacon for practical, career-focused education, preparing students for success in various fields. Established with a clear vision for hands-on learning, it currently serves a vibrant community of 1,000 students, empowering them with the skills and knowledge needed for the future workforce.

Its roots trace back to May 1966, when the career center district was officially formed. A truly pioneering institution, Four County notably broke ground as the first vocational school in Ohio to be constructed entirely with local funding. This deep commitment from the community paved the way for its grand opening in September 1969.

From its inception, Four County welcomed 900 juniors and seniors into its state-of-the-art facility, which cost US$5,000,000 to build. Over the decades, the original five-acre building has undergone significant modifications, continuously adapting to meet the evolving demands of industry. This dedication to relevance has fostered a robust learning environment, culminating in over 22,000 graduates who have successfully launched their careers since the center first opened its doors, demonstrating its enduring impact on regional development and individual success.
