By 1990, it gained accreditation to offer specialized associate degrees, and over the next decade, it pioneered new programs in computer animation, digital media, and game design. This continuous innovation culminated in receiving university status in 2008, signifying its broad and deep academic offerings, including bachelor's and master's programs, and a growing presence in online education.
