Genesee Community College (GCC), a proud member of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, has been a cornerstone of accessible higher education since its founding in 1966. Opening its doors to students in 1967, GCC quickly established itself as a vital resource for the community, eventually settling into its permanent Batavia campus in 1972.
