Geneva College

Step into a legacy of faith and learning at Geneva College, an institution deeply rooted in the Reformed tradition since its founding in 1848. Originally established as "Geneva Hall" in Northwood, Ohio, by a minister of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America, the college was named to honor Geneva, Switzerland, a historic hub of the Reformed faith movement. This strong foundational identity continues to shape the college's mission and community today.

After a brief pause during the American Civil War, Geneva College embarked on a new chapter, relocating to its current picturesque campus in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, in 1880. The move allowed the college to grow closer to urban areas, establishing its permanent home on land generously donated by the Harmony Society. The historic Old Main, completed in 1881, stands as a testament to this enduring heritage.

Over the years, the campus has continually evolved to meet the needs of its students, blending its rich history with modern advancements. Recent developments include the state-of-the-art Rapp Technical Design Center, completed in 2002, and significant infrastructure improvements like the rerouting of Pennsylvania Route 18 in 2007 to enhance campus cohesion. Further investment in the student experience saw major improvements to Reeves Stadium and the creation of a welcoming campus entrance and pedestrian mall in 2009, fostering a vibrant and connected environment for learning and community.
