Geneva College

Steeped in a rich legacy dating back to 1848, Geneva College offers students a unique educational journey grounded in its enduring Reformed faith tradition. Originally established as "Geneva Hall" in Ohio by minister John Black Johnston, the institution was thoughtfully named to honor the Swiss heartland of the Reformed faith movement. This deep-rooted heritage continues to shape its academic and community life, providing a distinctive environment where faith and learning intertwine.

After a brief pause during the American Civil War, Geneva College relocated its vibrant community to Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, in 1880, settling into the picturesque College Hill neighborhood. The college's present-day campus blossomed on land generously donated by the Harmony Society, with iconic structures like Old Main, completed in 1881, standing as a testament to its foundational commitment.
