The journey of Goodwin University began as the Data Institute Business School. Over decades, it steadily evolved, achieving non-profit status and gaining accreditation from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) in 2004, solidifying its academic credibility. A pivotal moment came in 2008 when it was authorized by the Connecticut Board of Governors for Higher Education to offer baccalaureate programs, significantly expanding its academic offerings.
