Grace Christian University stands out as an institution deeply committed to integrating biblical study into every facet of its curriculum. What began as a local initiative to empower Sunday School teachers has blossomed into a comprehensive university preparing students for diverse vocations, all grounded in a strong Christian worldview. The journey of Grace Christian University began in 1939 as an evening Bible institute in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, founded by Charles F. Baker. This humble start quickly evolved, expanding into the Milwaukee Bible Institute in 1945 and then Milwaukee Bible College in 1953, reflecting its growing academic offerings. A significant move in 1961 brought the institution to Wyoming, Michigan, where it was renamed Grace Bible College. This period marked critical expansion, including the authority to grant Associate and Bachelor of Religious Education degrees.

Since receiving accreditation in 1967, Grace Christian University has continually broadened its academic horizons, now offering Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Master of Arts degrees. A key strength is its commitment to online education, introduced in 2010, providing flexible learning opportunities for students around the globe.
