Grace College and Theological Seminary

Grace College and Theological Seminary stands out for its unique dual identity, seamlessly blending a rich theological heritage with a vibrant, evolving collegiate experience. The institution's story began in 1937 with the organization of Grace Theological Seminary, spearheaded by Alva J. McClain. This marked the genesis of a learning environment focused on deep theological study. Recognizing the need for broader academic offerings, a two-year undergraduate division was introduced in 1948. This division progressively developed, eventually transitioning into the four-year college known today, signifying a significant expansion of its educational mission.

Beyond its main campus, Grace College has demonstrated a forward-thinking approach to educational access. Starting in 2011, it expanded its reach by adding satellite locations designed to offer associate and bachelor's degree completion programs. While its initial Indianapolis location has since closed, Grace College continues to adapt and grow, actively developing a new satellite presence in Akron, Ohio.
