Great Lakes Christian College

Great Lakes Christian College (GLCC) stands as a beacon of Christian education, nurturing faith and shaping leaders for over seven decades. Founded in 1949 as Great Lakes Bible College in the serene setting of Rock Lake, Michigan, this institution began its journey with a pioneering spirit and a modest cohort of just 12 dedicated students. After establishing its initial campus on a converted farm in 1951, GLCC made a pivotal move to Lansing in 1958, taking residence in the historic Dodge Mansion. This period of expansion culminated in 1972 with the acquisition of 47 acres in Delta Township, where the college built its enduring modern campus, designed to foster a comprehensive educational experience.

In 1992, the institution embraced its broader vision by changing its name to Great Lakes Christian College, signifying its expanded academic offerings while remaining true to its core Christian identity.
