This merger, under federal court order, solidified Hinds' inclusive mission and significantly expanded its multi-campus reach. Throughout the years, Hinds has consistently adapted to educational demands, adding college-level academic courses, vocational education, and technical degree programs, achieving accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools by 1926.
