Hobe Sound Bible College

Hobe Sound Bible College stands as a distinguished private Bible college, steadfastly committed to its inspiring motto: "Knowing Christ and Making Him Known." The college's rich history began in 1960, spearheaded by the visionary Wesleyan Methodist minister, Stephen D. Herron. Driven by a desire to create a conservative holiness school offering quality education, Herron collaborated with the Florida Evangelistic Association (now Hope International Missions), which generously provided the grounds of Sea Breeze Camp. This spirit of collaborative faith and vision quickly bore fruit, as the newly formed Hobe Sound Bible Institute welcomed its inaugural class of 24 students from 12 states and Canada, alongside a dedicated three-person teaching staff.

Today, Hobe Sound Bible College continues its legacy as a prominent institution within the holiness movement. Its academic strengths are rooted in a deep commitment to its founding principles, ensuring an education that is both spiritually enriching and intellectually rigorous. The college also uniquely operates Hobe Sound Christian Academy, a comprehensive K-2 through 12th-grade school, reflecting its holistic approach to Christian education and community development, nurturing faith and knowledge across generations.
