Hobe Sound Bible College

The institution's journey began with the vision of Stephen D. Herron, a prominent Wesleyan Methodist minister. He envisioned a school that would provide a conservative holiness education, a dream brought to life when the Florida Evangelistic Association (now Hope International Missions) offered the grounds of Sea Breeze Camp. From its humble beginnings in 1960, welcoming 24 students from 12 states and Canada with a three-person teaching staff, the college has grown significantly, establishing a prominent place within the holiness movement.

Under the leadership of President Matthew Maloyed, Hobe Sound Bible College continues its legacy of preparing students for lives of service and ministry. While its academic strengths are built upon its core theological foundation, the college also operates Hobe Sound Christian Academy, providing comprehensive education from grades K-2 through 12.
