The establishment of ICOM in 2016 was a pivotal moment for Idaho, which, despite being one of the fastest-growing states, previously ranked 49th in physicians per capita. Founded by Dan Burrell, in strategic partnership with Idaho State University and key state healthcare and government officials, ICOM was born out of a collective vision to transform Idaho's healthcare landscape.
