Laramie County Community College

Laramie County Community College (LCCC) stands as a vibrant public community college, dedicated to providing accessible education to its 5,389 students. The institution's roots trace back to 1968, when LCCC was founded with a vision for local higher education. Its establishment was made possible by a generous donation of 168 acres of pasture land from Dorian Lummis and the Arp family, setting the stage for campus construction. This pioneering spirit defined its early days, starting with a modest team of 25 full-time employees and an initial offering of 18 distinct programs.
