Las Vegas College boasts a rich and transformative history, beginning its journey in 1979 as the Krolak Business Institute. What started as a vision for business education quickly evolved, gaining licensing in 1986 to offer associate degrees, solidifying its commitment to comprehensive career preparation. Over the decades, the institution underwent several significant changes, reflecting its adaptability and dedication to serving the educational needs of the region.

Renamed Las Vegas Business College, and later Las Vegas College after an acquisition by Rhodes Colleges, Inc. in 1996, the school continuously aimed to provide practical, career-oriented programs. This commitment was further demonstrated with the opening of a branch campus in Henderson, Nevada, in 2003, and the subsequent relocation of its main campus there in 2005, expanding accessibility for its students.

While the institution has since transformed through various iterations, ultimately becoming Altierus Career College, its foundational spirit of delivering relevant, career-focused education remains a defining characteristic.
