Latin American Bible Institute (LABI College) stands as a unique beacon in American higher education, renowned for its pioneering role as one of the oldest institutions in the United States specifically dedicated to serving the Hispanic community. True to its motto, "Equipping the next generation of Latino leaders," LABI College has been a vital center for spiritual and educational development for nearly a century, shaping individuals ready to make a significant impact in their communities and beyond.

The college's inspiring journey began on October 1, 1926, founded through the vision of Miss Alice E. Luce, a former Anglican missionary, in partnership with Ralph and Richard Williams. From its humble beginnings in San Diego, LABI quickly adapted to its growing student body, relocating first to La Mesa in 1935 and then to Los Angeles in 1941 to accommodate the increasing demand for ministerial training. This spirit of growth culminated in the acquisition of its current expansive campus in La Puente, California, where it celebrated the graduation of its inaugural class in 1950.

Today, with a close-knit community of 92 students, LABI College continues its mission, providing a focused environment for those called to service. Its academic strength lies in its specialized Bible school curriculum, designed to equip students with the spiritual depth and practical skills necessary for leadership.
