Founded in 1892 by Walter and Emma Malone as Cleveland Bible College, this private university maintains a deep connection to the Evangelical Friends Church – Eastern Region, offering a robust academic experience integrated with a strong spiritual foundation.

Malone's journey began in Cleveland, initially training young people for inner-city ministry and social service within the Quaker tradition. After establishing itself as a vital community resource, a forced relocation in 1956 prompted a pivotal transformation.
