Marymount Manhattan College

Marymount Manhattan College offers a dynamic liberal arts experience uniquely situated in the heart of New York City. Established in 1936, it began as a two-year women's college before evolving into an independent, four-year co-educational institution welcoming students of all backgrounds. While no longer affiliated with the Catholic Church since 2005, its founding by the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary laid the groundwork for a college committed to academic excellence and community engagement.

It has earned a particular reputation for its performing arts programs, with industry publications like Backstage recognizing it as a top institution where Broadway and Tony Award-nominated actors have trained.
