Merrimack College

Vincent McQuade, O.S.A., a former Villanova faculty member and friend of Archbishop Cushing, spearheading its creation. McQuade meticulously orchestrated everything from land acquisition to curriculum development, ensuring the college's charter and opening in a remarkably swift timeframe in 1947.
