Mesa Community College

Mesa Community College (MCC) is a vibrant hub of learning, growing from a small extension to a comprehensive institution serving over 15,000 students. Known for its expansive facilities, MCC offers a wide array of academic and vocational programs, including robust offerings in science, technology, nursing, business, and liberal arts, all supported by modern, purpose-built infrastructure. It fosters an environment designed to meet the diverse educational needs of its community.

MCC's rich history began in 1963 as an extension branch of Phoenix College, quickly establishing its own identity. By 1965, it was formally named Mesa Community College, marking its independence and the start of rapid growth. The college's commitment to expansion is evident in its continuous development, from its initial three-building campus on 120 acres to the subsequent addition of numerous specialized buildings, culminating in the opening of the Red Mountain Campus in 2000.

Beyond academics, MCC provides a dynamic student experience with amenities like the Kirk Student Center, Outback Theater, modern gymnasiums, and athletic fields. The state-of-the-art Paul A. Elsner Library and new art museum underscore its dedication to providing accessible resources and cultural enrichment.
