The Michigan Career and Technical Institute (MCTI) stands as a unique and vital institution, dedicated to empowering individuals through specialized career and technical training. MCTI's rich history dates back to 1944 when the W. K. Kellogg Foundation established it with the noble mission of rehabilitating returning World War II veterans. Over the years, it evolved through several name changes, each reflecting its growing commitment to comprehensive rehabilitation and technical education, ultimately becoming the Michigan Career and Technical Institute in 1995.
