Midway University, a distinguished private institution with a rich heritage dating back to 1847, offers a unique educational experience rooted in its foundational mission. Originally established as the Kentucky Female Orphan School, it was envisioned by co-founders L.L. Pinkerton and James Ware Parrish to provide a robust education focused on moral, intellectual, and physical development, alongside practical skills for a livelihood.
