North Central University

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Minneapolis, North Central University stands as a private institution dedicated to shaping lives with purpose. The university's rich history traces back to its founding in 1930 as the North Central Bible Institute. What began as a vision under the North Central District Council of the Assemblies of God swiftly grew, necessitating a move to its current Minneapolis campus in 1936. This foundational period laid the groundwork for an institution committed to expanding its educational horizons.

A significant turning point came in 1955 when the school began offering robust four-year degrees, signaling a deepened commitment to academic excellence. This evolution continued, leading to its renaming as the North Central Bible College in 1957, and ultimately achieving university status in 1998, adopting its present esteemed name, North Central University.
