Northeast Alabama Community College

Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) stands as a proud cornerstone of Alabama's community college system, a testament to the state's vision for accessible higher education. Established in 1963 by the Alabama Legislature as one of the original twelve community colleges, NACC opened its doors on September 30, 1965, welcoming an inaugural class of 380 pioneering freshmen. Over the decades, the college has demonstrated a commitment to evolving educational standards, notably transitioning from a quarter to a semester system in 1998, always aiming to enhance the student learning experience.
