Northern Essex Community College

Northern Essex Community College (NECC) has been a cornerstone of accessible education since 1961, growing from a modest 186 students to a vibrant institution serving over 4,300 individuals today. What truly sets NECC apart is its pioneering spirit: it was the first federally designated Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) in New England, boasting a significant 40% Hispanic student population, many from the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
