Ozarks Technical Community College

Founded on April 3, 1990, initially as Heart of the Ozarks Community Technical College, the institution rapidly established its presence by holding classes in various community hubs, including Cox Medical Center North, Graff Hall, and the North Town Mall. This innovative start demonstrated its adaptability and dedication to reaching students wherever they were. Dr. Norman K. Myers was appointed as the founding president in September 1990, guiding its early growth and expansion. The college officially embraced its current, more concise name, Ozarks Technical Community College, in 1994, solidifying its identity and mission.
